Rain is on air: Auguste Gires presents "La Pluie" on RTL radio

On 14 September during the RTL programme La curiosité est un vilain défaut, Auguste Gires (École des Ponts ParisTech) presented his publication "La Pluie" , a children book that addresses in a playful way complex issues investigated in the RainGain project, such as rainfall measurements, drop formation or rainfall variability. 

Auguste Gires answered to usual and unusual questions from the radio journalists concerning rainfall events, the water cycle and his research activity. Lot of interest aroused around the weather radars: in particular about the uses and advantages of radars, and how radar data differ, for example, from disdrometers data.
