Radar inauguration in Rotterdam

The new X-band weather radar was inaugurated in Rotterdam on the 12th of October:

What's next?

The data of the Rotterdam X-band radar will be saved at the 3TU Data centre (data.3tu.nl) and will be made accessible for experts and non-experts.

A business model has been developed for the radar implementation and data use.

TU Delft will continue with training activities after the end of the RainGain project. Training will be adressed to BSc, MSc students, and primary/secondary schools in Delft. Also, workshops will be organised to train water managers and operators of for example the City of Rotterdam and other water authorities.
