The first UK National Observers Group Meeting took place on 29th February 2012 at WSP House, London. Over 40 people attended, including specialists, practitioners, academics and local and central government policy-makers. During this meeting an overview of the RainGain project was provided and relevant issues and needs related to urban pluvial flooding were discussed. The feedback received from our National Observers during this meeting constitutes a vital input for the RainGain project! In addition, the UK National Observers learned about the opportunities to get involved in the project.
